The Snoods are magical creatures who live behind the wise old Mulberry Tree, up the Twitten in a beautiful garden in deepest Sussex.

The Snoods are exceptional at creating beautifully enchanting, whimsical spaces for parties and celebrations. Once all the decorations are in place and the guests start arriving they drink  fizz to celebrate their creativity and to toast the happiness of their guests hence the name FizzySnood.

Since the Snoods are only little tiny creatures, their creativity is limited to the boundaries of the garden. Having been given the honour of Ambassador and Spokesperson to the Snoods a few years ago, I felt it only right to continue their work but on a grander scale and this is how FizzySnood Venue and Event dressing was born.

Since the inception of FizzySnood, we have been privileged enough to decorate and beautify such events as weddings, corporate events including product launches, private parties, office parties  and more recently we have decorated funeral wakes in a respectful and very personal way.

Our speciality and signature shooshing adornment for our events are our tissue paper pom poms – aka “FLOOFS”. We wanted a word to describe these gorgeous bundles of yummyness and one day one of the Snoods said that they thought they looked rather “Floofy” . What a great word  I thought and upon further  research this is what I discovered that the word Floofy  generally describes something as being light and airy. It is commonly understood at something pleasant as it connotes thoughts of feathers, clouds, pillows, freshly washed bunny fur and other soft amiable objects.

So there you go, we think floofy is the perfect way to describe our fabulous tissue paper installations and we’ll think you’ll like them too.
